Though better known for his action thriller Die Hard movies, Bruce Willis is at his best in science fiction. Whether he is a hero, father, cop, or lover – Bruce Willis brings an element of the everyman into worlds both strange and dystopian. His ability to bridge the gap between action and sensitivity is unusual for most actors, and adds a necessary dimension to his sci-fi features. After all, the real test for good science fiction is its ability to showcase human behavior when faced with advanced technologies or alien environments. Epic battles in space and time are just the icing on the cake.
